Designed by Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen
This daybed called "Savbriksen" was designed by Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen in 1962 and is produced by Skovshoved Møbelfabrik. It was designed because his Son was going camping and he was a bit sick. The daybed was designed, so his son did not have to freeze while sleeping on the ground. The daybed is made without screws, but holds together with a Sisal robe, using an old unique furniture design construction called the "saw principle" The daybed can be folded and put together in a small bag in 2 minutes and is therefore easy to transport. It can be used for many things; as decoration, a sun bed, and it is an excellent guest bed as well.
Color & Material
The daybed is made of untreated Beechwood, and the cover is natural colored listen. The robe is Sisal robe.
